Ukrainian Council of Nursing and Midwifery



The UCNM is a structural subdivision of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Ukrainian Medical Council,” which is engaged in protecting and meeting the lawful social, economic, creative, age-related, national-cultural, and other collective interests of its members. Its main tasks are to promote the formation of a nationwide register of practicing medical professionals and integrate Ukraine’s healthcare system into the European system according to EU standards, as well as to support a high level of professional medical care and unite specialists in this field for further cooperation.

The Ukrainian Council of Nursing and Midwifery conducts an international registration system in Ukraine.

The Register consists of three sectors:

• Nurses
• Midwives
• Specialized nurses

Eligible for registration:

• Those educated and practicing in Ukraine
• Educated in Ukraine but practicing abroad
• Educated abroad and practicing in Ukraine

Applicants must submit a paper or online application via the unified “E-Service” portal. The council will review the application and may request an interview or issue a refusal. Good Standing Certificates are issued only to specialists who are registered with the Ukrainian Council of Nursing and Midwifery and have undergone document verification. An administrative fee applies. The certificate can be mailed to a foreign competent authority or another address. Validity is limited to one year by UCNM rules, though some jurisdictions may require renewal within 3–6 months. Applications can be submitted via the “E-Service” portal. Ukrainian Professional Council for Healthcare



The Ukrainian Professional Council for Healthcare is a structural subdivision of the “Ukrainian Medical Council,” focused on protecting and meeting the legitimate interests of members from related healthcare professions. It works to support a national registry, promote European integration in healthcare, and ensure professional standards and cooperation.



  • Maintaining a national register of allied health professionals

  • Investigating complaints and taking disciplinary actions


The Ukrainian Professional Council for Healthcare conducts international registration in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Medical Assembly



“Ukrainian Medical Assembly” is a non-profit public organization.

Its primary mission is to protect the lawful interests of its members and support the professional and scientific advancement of medical workers to improve Ukrainian medicine and unite specialists in the field.

The Assembly advocates for Ukrainian medical students abroad, helping them access internships, scholarships, and preferential education. It also supports medical institutions in need of donor assistance and implements charitable projects to save lives.

Its active work has brought together leading professionals, over 45 trainers, and volunteers to carry out preventive and educational programs.
